The Tri-State Bleeding Disorder foundation is a non profit organization with a 35 year history of providing support, programs, and services to the bleeding disorder community of the Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana. We aspire to improve the quality of life for patients and their families living with bleeding disorders. Currently T.S.B.D.F. serves 16 counties and assists more than 400 patients and their families in and around Greater Cincinnati.

NHF’s Victory for Women Scholarship
The application for the 2012 Victory for Women scholarships is now available. The deadline for applications is Friday, May 25, 2012. There are two scholarships available, $2,500 each. Any women diagnosed with a bleeding disorder, and planning to attend a program of higher education in fall 2012, is eligible.

The Biogen Idec Hemophilia Scholarship
The Biogen Idec Hemophilia Scholarship Program helps
students with Hemophilia further their education –and their lives – by providing
scholarships for various levels of higher learning.
Applicants attending a college/university may be awarded up to $7,000.
Applicants attending a vocational/technical school may be awarded up to $2,500.
The number of awards and award amounts will vary based on unmet academic need. A
total of up to $50,000 in scholarships will be awarded.
To be eligible for this award you must:
be a U.S. citizen or legal resident with Hemophilia A or Hemophilia B
be pursuing a degree or certificate in the Fall of 2012. This includes
undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and certifications
be enrolled or planning to enroll in a vocational/technical school or 2- or
4-year accredited college or university in the Fall of 2012
demonstrate strong academic record and involvement in the community

TSBDF's Search for the Holy Grail Scavenger Hunt
Join us Saturday, May 19th for TSBDF’s Scavenger Hunt as we Search for the Holy Grail! Registration will start at 1pm at The Holy Grail, downtown. Cost is $25 per person or $100 per 4 person team and will include appetizers, soft drinks and one drink ticket. Start time will be 1:30 with a reception that follows from 4pm-6pm. Deadline to register is May 1st.
Even if you cannot participate in the Scavenger Hunt, please join us at the Holy Grail that day for the televised Reds vs. Yankees game, lunch or dinner. The Holy Grail will donate 10% of all food and beverage sales on May 19th from 11am-9pm to TSBDF.Please click here for the registration form.
