Well, we are coming up on the time of year where we take our issues to our elected officials.
NHF's Washington days will be held March 7th,8th and 9th.
Our new board President Jeff Reichert and I will be representing TSBDF.
NHF should be releasing our priorities as well as our talking points for our congressional visits in the next few days.
We will also be attending a training session on state advocacy.
I am particularly interested in this session due to that fact that State and Interstate Advocacy are one of our priorities.
All of these events as well as our national organizations are based on relationships.
Strengthening and growing these relationships is the foundation of what we do.
You may not be going to Washington days but many of you have connections and relationships with people from across the country who will be there.
We need your help.
Please let us know who you know and with whom we need to network.
Forward me their name and what city and state they are from.
If you get the chance shoot them an email that we will be looking for them and copy me with it.
I am really interested in connections that will help us in Indiana and Kentucky.
I want to make sure we make the best of our opportunities in D.C.
