There are three scholarships now available for bleeding disorder patients and/or immediate family members in TSBDF’s 16 county service area. Please read each application closely as each has different criteria and requirements.
The TD Hughes Scholarship is a $1,000 a year scholarship for a higher education
program, and can be won a maximum of four times. It is open to patients who have
hemophilia or other inherited bleeding disorder. Applicants must live in the 16
county area the TSBDF chapter serves or must be seen by a physician at one of
the two HTC’s in Cincinnati. Deadline to apply is September 9, 2011. For

The Gina Stack Scholarship is a $1500 a year scholarship for persons entering a
degree program with a focus on the healthcare/medical profession, that can be
won a maximum of two times. The program is open to persons and their immediate
family members, who have hemophilia or other inherited bleeding disorder.
Applicants must live in the 16 county area the TSBDF chapter serves or must be
seen by a physician at one of the two HTC’s in Cincinnati. Deadline to apply is

The Dr. Peter G Ruehlman Scholarship is new this year. This scholarship is
available to an undergraduate, graduate and professional student who is enrolled
full-time at any college of the University of Cincinnati. It may be renewed
annually for up to twelve academic quarters. Please see application for
