TSBDF Family Education Night & First Pitch at Great American Ballpark
It was a beautiful evening to watch the Reds beat the Pittsburgh Pirates at Great American Ballpark. The evening started with a presentation called The Power of Empowerment. Our attendees enjoyed a wonderful interactive session learning the importance of being empowered for those with bleeding disorders. We then were able to head to our seats to watch our very own Chase Nerenberg throw out the Ceremonial 1st Pitch before the game. Chase was the winner of our Throw the 1st Pitch Contest- how to stay fit while living with a bleeding disorder. Read his winning essay below! Our second place runner up was Nicholas Kersting. You can watch his video submission on our Facebook page. Congratulations to both for not only great submissions but on living a healthy lifestyle with Hemophilia!
Thank you to both Bioverativ and Diplomat for sponsoring a great program!
