On Friday, September 15th, the TSBDF has the opportunity to have a bleeding disorder patient throw out the first pitch at the 7:10 p.m. Reds vs. Pittsburgh Pirates game in conjunction with our Family Education Night at Great American Ballpark. We are asking patients of all ages to submit an essay explaining how they stay physically fit while living with a bleeding disorder. Please keep the essay to 500 words or less. Children under 11 may submit a drawing in lieu of an essay. You may also submit a 60 second video if you prefer.
This contest is for bleeding disorder patients only who attend Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center’s HTC, the University of Cincinnati Hospital’s HTC, or who see a local Hematologist in the Greater Cincinnati area.
The deadline to submit is Friday, August 25th and should be sent to Hemophilia@fuse.net or mailed to 635 W 7th St., Ste 407, Cincinnati, OH 45203. You must include your name, email, & phone number. The winning entry will be featured in an upcoming chapter newsletter and on our website.  Questions? Please call or email the chapter office!
